Finding Your Username & Setting a Password

If you are a new student,  you may not know your MyVWCC username and password yet. This username and password are used to access all of our online services and databases for research. To look up your username and set a password, visit VWCC's IET website.

After you set up an initial password, the college requires additional authentication. For dual-enrollment students, you can use a pictograph: Instructions for setting up a pictograph.

Off-Campus Access

All databases can be accessed off-campus 24/7 by logging in with your MyVWCC username and password. If you have trouble with your login, contact the Help Desk at 540-857-7354 or helpdesk@virginiawestern.edu.

Book Delivery Service

If you live outside the Roanoke Valley area and do not take on-campus classes, you may request that a book be mailed to you. You may then mail the book back (at your own expense) to us at our address: 3095 Colonial Ave. SW, Roanoke, VA 24015. Please be aware that you are responsible for replacement charges should the book become lost in the mail.

Books can be returned to the main campus at any time, day or night. If you need to return a book outside of normal library hours, the library has an outdoor book return box, located in the parking lot behind Duncan Hall (the campus bookstore). An outdoor book drop box is also located on the front steps of Brown.
