Video Accessibility at Virginia Western Community College

Video Accessibility

At Virginia Western, Faculty can create instructional content using a wide array of video platforms. Each platform has built-in technology to provide automatic captions at around 85% accuracy.  After the captions are generated, the faculty can go back in and edit captions to obtain 100% accuracy.  The sections below outline captioning best practices based on your preferred platform.
