This is the academic version of the web-based PubMed search, but also provides additional full text for nearly 1,200 journals on a broad range of medical topics relating to research, clinical practice, administration, policy issues, and health care services.

Includes about 80 full-text, peer-reviewed journals and bulletins published by American Institute of Biological Sciences member societies and other closely related organizations.

Environment Complete
Offers coverage in applicable areas of agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, renewable energy sources, natural resources, marine & freshwater science, geography, pollution & waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts, urban planning, and more.
Environmental Sciences Collection
This collection contains environmental science related full-text articles, granular access to figures and tables within articles, environmental impact statements, and the entire range of bibliographic records from Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management (ESPM).

Background Information

Science in Context & Gale Virtual Reference Library are great for background information and basic overviews, but may not be peer-reviewed. Check carefully if your professor requires that you use scholarly journal articles only.

Our biggest and most general database, ASC searches for articles in many different subject areas.
CQ Researcher
CQ Researcher contains reports for controversial topics. You will find data and statistics within the body of reports. Many reports will also include charts or graphs.
Gale eBooks
Database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
Issues & Controversies
Chronologies, illustrations, maps, tables, sidebars, bibliographies and contact information augment the balanced, accurate coverage of current and historical controversial events.
Opposing Viewpoints in Context
Provides balanced coverage, pro/con articles, and different viewpoints of controversial issues.
