Adopt No-Cost/Low-Cost Materials!
Open Educational Resources are usually either zero cost or very-low cost. Talk to Dale Dulaney, the OER Librarian, about this option (857-7438, ddulaney@virginiawestern.edu). He will do the research to show you which books and ancillary materials are available for your subject area. He also holds workshops which will help you see if there is an OER textbook that is right for your class.
