This video tutorial shows you how to use Gale in Context: Opposing Viewpoints and create your APA-style reference for your article.

Remember, each time you use a source in the body of your paper, you'll include an in-text citation with the author's last name and year of publication like this one: (Jones, 2006). Then, at the end of your paper, you'll include the full reference to the source like this one:

Jones, J. M. (2006). Americans support the death penalty. In D. A. Becker (Ed.), Opposing Viewpoints:

    Problems with Death. Detroit, MI: Greenhaven Press. Retrieved from GALE|EJ3010160240

-Once you choose your article, scroll to the very bottom of the article text and look for the citation box.

-Choose the APA tab in the citation box

-Copy everything except the URL/Link after "Retrieved from"

-Once you paste the citation at the end of your paper, add the Gale Document Number after "Retrieved from"

-You will find the document number at the very bottom of the article under the citation.
